We first heard about House of Hope about 10 years ago when Sara Trollinger, the foundress, came to speak at the Women of Faith Conference in Hartford, CT with a teen from the program. Sara, a former schoolteacher, was led by the Lord to establish a faith-based ministry, House of Hope of Orlando 23 years ago. This ministry is a residential program where hurting, troubled teens can learn to accept responsibility, submit to authority, get along with peers and adults and come to a saving knowledge of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. The emphasis in this CHRIST-centered environment is on healing and restoring teens and their families. Our hearts were touched. As a result of that day, House of Hope of Rhode Island has been birthed! We are in the initial stages of starting up and we need your help. We are established as a non-profit and all giving is tax deductible. As you can imagine, our needs are great, but we have a GOD WHO is immeasurably greater that all of our needs! Our main request is that you would pray for House of Hope of Rhode Island and ask GOD how HE would have you to be involved in this ministry. We would love to see House of Hope springing up over all New England, across this nation and around the world!

Prayer Support:

Our primary need is Prayer Support. House of Hope stresses the foundation of this organization is prayer. We know that unless the LORD builds the house, we labor in vain. Our prayer is that we would only move forward as the LORD leads and provides. We are a faith based organization, whose primary goal is to see the LORD glorified and to see lives eternally changed for HIS KINGDOM! Would you consider keeping us in your prayers daily, weekly or monthly? If you are interested in being an intercessor, starting up a prayer group for House of Hope or if you would like to receive our prayer/newsletter would you please contact us to let us know?

Volunteers:

We are in need of volunteers of all types. Presently, we need those willing to do public relations, phone contacts, mailings, printing, accounting, book-keeping and legal assistance. We would welcome Christian counselors who would eventually become paid staff. When we acquire property, we will need builders, electricians, plumbers, grounds keepers and people willing to clean, paint and whatever other needs that will arise.

Property:

Our desire is to have a campus to house both girls and boys, with a school, chapel and administration building. National House of Hope’s model is a 10 acre campus. We are open to whatever the LORD would give us! Presently, we are looking for a location to start up non-residential Christian Counseling.

Supplies & Finances

All donations are tax deductible…our need is great but we know that our GOD is able to make all grace abound toward us and supply all of our needs according to HIS riches in CHRIST JESUS.
